B-Side Artist: Chris Rizik

Chris Rizik is founder, CEO and publisher of SoulTracks.com, an online magazine that is ranked as the most popular soul music website in America. Chris also created the annual SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards, the leading awards dedicated to independent soul music. Chris is also the CEO of the Renaissance Venture Capital Fund, formed by leaders in the State of Michigan to increase the amount of investment in Michigan and to diversify that state’s economy. It is the largest fund of its kind in the nation. Chris received an undergraduate accounting degree with high honors from Michigan State University and a law degree with honors from the University of Michigan.
