The project is the brainchild of Frankie's son, Anthony Beverly, who wanted to properly pay homage to his father while living, and honor him for the incredible musical legacy he and his band have left.
 
Anthony, a drummer and producer in his own right, has also toured with his father previously as a drummer for Maze.
 
With all the success -- 12 albums and 30 hit singles – people would be surprised that Maze featuring Frankie Beverly has yet to be honored by the music industry.

Brantera Music Group, Inc. is a full-service entertainment, production and consulting company founded by Anthony Beverly (producer/musician and son of R&B legend Frankie Beverly) and his entertainment attorney wife, Heather Nelson-Beverly who serves as the company's CEO.  Named after Anthony’s children (Frankie's grandchildren) Brandon, Ava and Tiera, the company, a true family affair, was founded in 2009 for the purpose of creating a tribute album project in honor of the infamous group, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.  The album celebrates an illustrious career of over 40 years 12 albums and 30 hit singles produced by Frankie Beverly and Maze.  Brantera’s debut recording project entitled “Silky Soul Music…All Star Tribute to Maze f/Frankie Beverly” features Mary J. FIRST SINGLE: Kedar Entertainment artist "Joe" has the project's first single, “Can’t Get Over You”. It debuted at #34 on the R&B charts and is playing in 25 markets across the country.
 
SECOND SINGLE: "I Wanna Thank You" featuring The Clark Sisters, Kierra Sheard and J Moss; produced by Donald Lawrence will be the album's second single and go to Gospel radio as a special treat for gospel music lovers.

Joe’s video of “Can’t Get Over You” will debut in the coming weeks on BET and VH-1 Soul.
